Experience a family-friendly getaway along the shores of Keweenaw Bay. The Baraga Waterfront Trail is a multi-use, non-motorized, mixed surface, paved and gravel pathway that offers users great waterfront views and provides a vital connection between the Baraga State Park and the Sand Point Lighthouse and Ojibwa Campground.

Directions & Parking
From Baraga State Park: Access the trail from the North end of the campground. Check with Baraga State Park staff for parking information.
From Baraga:
To Sand Point Lighthouse:
Head North on US-41 for 0.7 miles.
Turn right onto Lighthouse Rd.
Continue for 0.2 miles.
Take a slight right to stay on Lighthouse Rd.
Continue for 0.5 miles.
Parking is located on the right before the Sand Point Lighthouse near the small playground. Paved pathway is located next to parking area.
To Capul Recreation Park:
From M-38/US-41, head South on US-41 for 300 feet.
Turn left into parking area.
Gravel pathway heads North and paved pathway heads South from State Ave. adjacent to the park and marina.
